Marshville – Mrs. Mary Louise Mills High, 92, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023, at her home.  Born July 3, 1931, in Union County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Clennie Mills. She was also preceded in death by her husband James Layton High, son, Ronald High and siblings, Billy Mills, Marvin Mills, Ethel Helms, and Eloise Mills.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mary will be 1 PM Friday, August 4, 2023, from the Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Marshville City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the graveside service.

Those left to cherish her memory include daughters, Sue Rasti (Shahram) and Brenda High; grandchildren, Reza Rasti (Jessica), Mina Rasti and Amir Rasti; great grandchildren, Selah Rose, and Reza Jeremiah (RJ); many special nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Union County Community Paramedicine Program (Kathy, Rhonda and Donna), Jesse Helms Nursing Center Staff and Union County Hospice.
