Mrs.  Mercile Griffin Medlin, 88, passed away Saturday June 22, 2024, at her home.  Born October 12, 1935, in Union County, she was a daughter of the late George Washington Griffin and Alexzena Griffin Griffin.  She was also preceded in death by siblings, Warren Griffin, Geraldean Foster, Frances Burch and Dorothy Little.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mercile will be 11 AM Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from the graveside of Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends following by the graveside.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 67 years, Herman Medlin; daughters, Sandra Medlin and Pam Briles and her partner Lisa Bell; grandchildren, Amber Flint (Caleb), Daniel Horne, Jennifer Osborne (James); great grandchildren: Isabella and Jamie Osborne.
