Mr. Michael M. Austin 59, passed away on Sunday the 29th of April, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Union County on December the 17th, 1958 to the late Max and Jo Ellen Braswell Austin. He was a Correctional Officer with the NC Department of Public Safety for over 25 years.
Funeral Services will be 11am Monday the 7th of May, 2018 at Deep Springs Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 5pm-7pm Sunday at Morgan & Son Funeral Home of Marshville.
He is survived by his brother Mr. Philip M. Austin and his wife Pamela of Suwanee, Ga. Two sisters: Mrs. Teresa A. Blackburn of Pineville, and Ms. Cherie D. Austin of Myrtle Beach, SC.
