Mr. Michael "Mike" Arnold Benton, 71, of Marshville, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026, at his home.  Born May 19, 1954, he was a son of the late Beeson and Maude Horne Benton.  He was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Rita Diane Benton and a sister-in-law Paula Benton and brother-in-law, Mike Burris.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mike will be 11 AM, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 at the funeral home.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 32 years, Kitty Benton; son, Cameron Benton, siblings, Ronnie Benton and Sheila Burris; nieces, nephews and cousins.
