Mrs. Nadine Phifer, 87, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at her home in Peachland.  Born June 28, 1936 in Anson county, she was a daughter of the late Walter Tucker and Ella Beachum Tucker.  She was also preceded in death by siblings, Erie, Jack, Mason, Rob, Doyle, Buford and Scott Tucker.

She loved to garden and cook.  She used her cooking skills to bless family and people in the community. She was a 66-year member of Deep Springs Baptist Church.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Nadine will be 11 AM, Friday, January 5, 2024 at the Deep Springs Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 in the church fellowship building.

Those left to cherish her memory included her husband of 67 years, Glenn Phifer; sons, Charles Phifer, Dennis Phifer (Becky) and Carlton Phifer (Kristi); grandchildren, Amanda and Leanna Phifer, Hunter and Dylan Phifer and Rylan Phifer.
