Mrs Nellie Preslar Yount 75, passed away on July the 15th, 2016 at Autumn Care of Marshville. She was born in Union County on October the 27th, 1940 to the late Leroy Clyde and Junnie Frances Carpenter Preslar. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Charles Williard Yount. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by ten siblings: James Monroe Preslar, Butler Stephenson Preslar, Leroy Levy Preslar, William Parks Preslar, Alfred Eli Preslar, Benjamin Frank Preslar, Grady Clarence Preslar, Blanch May Trull, Josephine Margaret Taylor, and Elizabeth Emma Preslar Hayes.
Funeral Services will be 3pm Sunday at Oakdale Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 2pm. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Cheryl Yount Ramsey of Hickory and Martha Yount Chapman and her husband Torrence of Claremont, NC. One brother Mr. Graham Alexander Preslar of Marshville and her sister Mrs. Frances Preslar Blalock of Lancaster, SC. 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren survive Mrs. Yount.
