Mr. Olin Broome, 88, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Hospice House in Monroe. He was born July 13, 1929 in Union County to the late Arthur E. Broome and Virdie Pearle Griffin Broome. He was also preceded in death by his wife Eldis Broome. His passion in life was farming and he also loved Fairfield Baptist Church. His generosity was well known by many.
Funeral Services will be 11 am Monday, March 12, 2018 at Fairfield Community Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will be private.
Mr. Broome is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Theresa B. Kizer and her husband Don of Simpsonville, SC and Krista B. Griffin of Marshville; grandchildren: Andrea K. Waters, Justin Griffin, and Brittany Griffin.
The family would like to thank Autumn Care of Marshville for their caring and compassion during Olin's time there.
