Oren Killian Rhyne passed away peacefully on December 6, 2023.  Born December 11, 1940, he was a son of the late Henry Hunt Rhyne Jr and Annie Belle Tucker.  He was also preceded in death by siblings, Lloyd Avery Rhyne, Henry Hunt Rhyne III, Mary Douglas Rhyne, Maie Rhyne Christensen and Annie Laura Rhyne Long.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 63 years, Lois Jean Booker Rhyne; daughters, Kimberly Jean Rhyne and Mitzi Rhyne Bullock (Michael); son, Oren Killian Rhyne, Jr. (Tina); grandchildren, Megan (Karissa), Andrew, Lindsey and Austin; great-grandchildren, Damian and Dexter; sister, Diane Rhyne Anderson; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Oren was born and raised in Charlotte, NC.  He retired from Pep Boys after 25 years of employment. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle.  He was a Godly man who loved the Lord and served as a deacon and part of the choir while a member of Sunset Road Baptist Church for over 15 years.

He loved family, cookouts, golf, going to the beach, fishing off the pier, gardening, reading his bible and listening to gospel music.  He loved watching The Office, Green Bay Packers, and Nascar racing.

His family would like to thank Autumn Care of Marshville for their loving care.  They would also like to thank Hospice of Charlotte for their compassionate care.
