St. Petersburg, Florida – Mr. Paul Wendell Laisure, Jr., 94, passed away Sunday morning at Springhill Assisted Living in Pageland, SC.  Born November 6, 1931, in Macomb County, Michigan he was a son of the late Paul Wendell Laisure, Sr. and Irene Reis Thomas. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Doreen McAnelly and Arthur Laisure.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Paul will be 11 AM Friday, April 24, 2026, from the Union Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior in the fellowship area.

Those left to cherish Paul's memory include his sons, Skip Laisure (Robin), Chip Laisure (Debbie) and Mark Laisure; grandchildren, Andrea, Laisure, Corey Laisure, Ethan Laisure, Evan Laisure (Summer), Elloitt Laisure and Erron Laisure (Brooke), Elijah and Jett Paul Laisure, Kory Graw and Cameron McClure; sister, Elona Edwards.
