Mooresville – Mrs. Rachel Horne Nance, 82, passed away February 16, 2022 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.  Born March 7, 1939 in Anson County, she was a daughter of the late Z. Ray Horne and Cornelia Reynolds.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Rachel will be private.  Mrs. Nance will be buried at Deep Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.

Mrs. Nance is survived by sons, Charles Nance and Greg Nance; daughter, Deborah Moon; grandchild, Wes Moon; sister, Pansy Helms.
