Lexington, SC - Anna Ramelle Thomas High, formerly of Gastonia, NC, passed away at home on November 28, 2014.
She was born, the youngest of eight children, in 1925 in Anson County to Wilburn and Hattie Thomas. Her parents and siblings preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 68 yrs., George High; daughters, Brenda Sims (Cort) of Post Falls, ID, Sandra Moody (Bill) of Lexington and a grandson, Billy Moody.
Ramelle was a member of Lexington Baptist Church.
The family thanks the compassionate friends and caregivers who helped in Ramelle's care in her final years.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 on Tuesday, December 2nd at Hopewell United Methodist Church where she attended as a child, 1046 Lanier Rd., Peachland, NC. The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm at the church on Tuesday.
