Marshville – Mr. Richard Lee Ellickson, 78, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Hospice House in Monroe.  Born March 29, 1946, in Portland Oregon, he was a son of the late Waldo Leander Ellickson and Dagny Camilla Aslackson Ellickson. He was a US Navy veteran serving from 1966-1968.

The family will host a Memorial Service Saturday, April 26, at 11 am at Marshville United Methodist Church with visitation to follow.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 59 years, Mary Jane Ellickson; daughters, Jennifer Wainright (Rick) and Stephanie Roberts (Chip); brothers, Arthur Ellickson (Kathy) and John Ellickson (Nancy); sisters, Esther Ellickson and Margaret Ellickson; grandchildren, Maris and Sophie Wainright and Miller Carnohan.
