Stanfield – Mr. Richard Scott "Rick" Parker, 58 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.  Born May 2, 1965, in Union County, he was a son of Larry Ben Parker and Lauren Haney Parker.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Gilf and Annette Preslar Parker and Olin and Allie Ross Haney.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Rick will be 11 AM Thursday, December 28, 2023 by the graveside at Marshville City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends by the graveside following the service.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kim Acosta; his parents; daughter, Brandy Parker; grandson, Nehemiah Parker; sister, Kristy Ferraro (Joe); nephews, Charles and John Ferraro; numerous aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials made to the charity of the donor's choice.
