Marshville- Mr. Robert C. Carpenter 74, passed away on April the 9th, 2018 at CMC Main in Charlotte. He was born in Union County, NC on the 4th of July, 1943 to the late Robert Boyce and Mildred Henrietta Strawn Carpenter. He was a retired salesman from Charlotte Ford Tractor.
Funeral Services will be 11am Saturday the 14th of April, 2018 at Union Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Marshville City Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10am until 10:45am in the Union Grove Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on Saturday.
He is survived by his son Mr. Robert A. Carpenter and his wife Christie of Batesburg, SC. His daughter Ms. Cami Helms of Gold Hill, NC. Two brothers: Mr. Harry Carpenter and his wife Joan and Mr. Curtis Carpenter and his wife Carol all of Marshville. One sister Mrs. Nadine C. Newell and her husband Charles of Indian Trail. His grandchildren: Mackenzie A. Carpenter, Kathrine C. Helms and Mariah A. Helms.
The family has requested that memorials be made to Union Grove Baptist Church, 2506 Old Lawyers Road, Marshville, NC 28103
