Robert Scales Hargett, Jr., 81, of Marshville, died peacefully Wednesday, October 2, 2019. He was born September 12, 1938, in Monroe, North Carolina, to the late Robert Scales Hargett, Sr., and Kathleen Stewart Hargett. He was a loyal member from early childhood of Marshville Presbyterian Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent, Deacon and Elder.
Recently, Bob was honored with a 50-year membership pin from the Beaver Dam Masonic Lodge #276.
