Polkton - Mr. Rodney Eudy, 63, passed away Monday, May 26, 2025 at his home surrounded by family.  Born June 8, 1961 in Union County, he was the son of the late Patrick McDonald Eudy and Marjorie Moser Hildreth. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Lynn Patrick Eudy and a son, William Kress Horne, Jr.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Rodney will be 11 AM, Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Morgan & Son Chapel with burial to follow in the Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10-10:45 at the funeral home.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Ann Simmons Eudy; children, April Baucom (Richard), Allison Laney; 14 grandchildren including Hailey and Remus Baucom, 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Cindy Adcock (George Graham), Tammy Benton (Danny), and Greg Eudy (Dawn); host of nieces and nephews; 3 great nieces; special niece and nephew, Kourtnie and JF Harward.

Special thanks to Lynn Horne and long-time friend Lynette Wallace for their loving care during his sickness.
