Obituary

Marshville - Roger William Little, On Saturday evening August 27, 2016 Roger went home to be with Jesus. Roger was born on May 5, 1956 to William A and Fannie Jordan Little. He survived by his wife of 40 years, Brenda Griffin Little and his son J R Little of Marshville. He was treated like a king by both his wife and son. Even though Roger was tough on the outside, he had a heart of gold and would help anyone he could. It was said of him that he would give you the shirt of his back if you needed it. Roger had been fighting many health problems for several years but did not complain about his illness.Before becoming disabled he worked for 30 years at Con-Met in Monroe, NC. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.He was predeceased by his parents, one sister, Becky Moore of Monroe, NC and her husband David, brother-in-law James Knight and niece Cindy k. Meadows. In addition to his wife and son he is survived by two sisters Vivian Knight of Marshville, NC and Susie Jordan(Graham) of Indian Trail, NC. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Karen Griffin of Wingate, NC, Mary Martin(Trey) of Bennettsville SC and brother-in-law Wayne Griffin(Jennifer) of Wingate, NC.Also surviving him are many nieces and nephews with whom he had many good times teasing and joking as he did with all he met.

Visitation will be Tuesday,August 30, 2016 at Morgan and Son Funeral Home in Marshville, NC from 6-8pm with the funeral service being Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Centerview Baptist Church, 2711 Old Pageland Marshville Rd, Marshville, NC at 11:00am. Interment will be in the Griffin Cemetery in Monroe, NC.

The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who took such excellent care of him and everyone for your thoughts, prayers and visits.
