Mr. Ronald Dolan Thomas, 77, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Autumn Care in Marshville.  Born June 10, 1946 in Anson County, he was a son of the late Robert Thomas, Jr. and Louise Nance Thomas.  He was proud of his service as an US Army Vietnam Veteran. In his younger years, he was an avid golfer and liked to travel to snow ski.  He worked for AT&T for 45 years.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ronald will be 2 PM Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from the graveside of New Home Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:30 -1:30 in the church fellowship building.

Those left to cherish his memory include brother, Randy Thomas (Ann); sister, Ann Walters (Lynn); nieces, Jennifer Hyatt (Cliff), Amanda Helms (Brad); nephew, Shane Walters; many great nieces and nephews.
