Mr. Ronnie Glen "Root" Edwards, 59, died Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Carolinas Healthcare System Union in Monroe. He was a son of the late Joe Dean Edwards and Margie Stegall Edwards Allen. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Michael Edwards and Joe Lee Edwards. He was the owner of Edwards Heating and Air.
Graveside service will be held 2PM Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Fairfield Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5-7 PM at Morgan & Son Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Murray Edwards; daughters, Stephanie Jurado of Marshville and Courtney Lopez and her husband Erwin of Marshville; brothers, Larry Edwards of Ocoee, Florida, Donnie Edwards and Bobby Edwards of Oakboro, NC; sister, Patricia Williams of Clover, SC; grandchildren, Daniel Edwards, Justen Lopez and Lydia Lopez.
