Monroe – Ronnie Simpson, 67, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at his home in Monroe.  Born July 19, 1954 in Union County, he was a son of the late Jake Simpson and Edith Rowell Simpson.  He loved the Atlanta Braves and his cat Elanor.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ronnie will be 11 AM, Saturday, May 28, 2022 by the graveside of Mt Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, 1591 Hasty Road, Peachland, MC 28133.  The family will receive friends following the service by the grave.

Mr. Simpson is survived by his loving wife Suzanne "Suzy" Strawn Simpson; son, David Simpson; mother-in-law, Plydeane Strawn Tarlton (Jimmy); brother-in-law, Glenn Strawn (Anita); nephew, Ben Strawn (Shelly); nieces, Anna Strawn and Jennifer Simpson.
