Monroe – Mrs. Ruby Mullis Knight, 84, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at her home.  Born March 9, 1936 in Union county, she was a daughter of the late Marshall Winford Mullis and Della Griffin Mullis.

She was very encouraging to everyone even though very afflicted.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ruby will be 11 am Monday by the graveside of Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 6302 Lawyers Road, Marshville, NC 28103.  The family will receive friends, by the grave, following the service.

Mrs. Knight is survived by her husband, Rufus "RW" Knight, sons, David Knight and his wife Janet and Ricky Knight; grandchildren, Amanda Thompson, Jeremy Knight and Dylan Knight; and 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
