Ms. Sandra Tarleton Tennant, 61, of Marshville passed away Monday evening, April 21, 2025, at Novant Matthews Medical Center.  Born September 22, 1963, in Madison County, Alabama to the late James Titus Tarleton, Jr. and Jennie Elizabeth Meggs Tarleton. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Jerry, Terry, Greg and Michael Tarleton, niece, Rebecca Tarleton and a nephew, Chadwyck Mauldin.

Sandy loved her family and friends that she was devoted to. She enjoyed gardening of all types and her fur babies. She loved the outdoors.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Sandy will be 1 PM Friday, April 25, 2025, at the Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home with visitation to follow.

Those left to cherish her memory include children, Jacob Griffin and Jessica Thomas; brother, Joe Tarleton; sister, Pamela T. Mauldin (Rodney); nieces and nephews, Andrea Leigh, Jeremy Tarleton (Maria), Jennifer Rodriguez (Matias), Justin Tarleton (Crystal), Emily Whitley (Matt), Sarah McCarn, (Evan), and Ashley Tarleton. Her devoted and longtime companion, Carl Varriale.
