Mr. Seaborn Edwards 91, passed away on Sunday the 8th of April 2018 at CMC Union. He was born in Union County on May the 16th, 1926 to the late Thomas William "Bit" Edwards and Novella Sanders Edwards. He was a retired construction superintendent with the Frank H. Connor Company and a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson, Mr. Travis Edwards and his siblings: Mr. Frank Edwards, Mr. Bob Edwards, Mrs. Magdalean Stegall, Mr. Cecil Edwards and Mrs. Frances Williams.
Funeral Services will be 2pm Wednesday at Harmony Community Church. Interment will follow in the Marshville City Cemetery. The family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6pm until 8pm at Morgan & Son Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years Mrs. Essie Mae Carelock Edwards of the home. His children: Mrs. Elaine E. Horne and her husband Delane of Peachland. Mr. Allen Edwards and his wife Robin of Monroe, Ms. Tonya Edwards of Monroe and Mr. Todd Edwards of Wingate. His grandchildren: Mr. Chris Horne and his wife Caryn, Mr. Dusty Horne and his wife Mandy, Mr. Tony Edwards and his wife Jennifer, Shawn Edwards, Logan Watson and his wife Kristian and Grayson Watson. Twelve great-grandchildren with the thirteenth due in September.
