Marshville - God has called another angel home.  Stacy Riggins, 51, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 following a vehicle accident.  She was born July 23, 1969 and was a life-long resident of Union County.  She graduated from Forest Hills High School and worked in the grocery business her entire career, at Food Lion, BiLo and Earth Fare.  Stacy was one of those rare people who always put others' needs before her own.  She had such a big heart that she took part of hers, and gave pieces of it to so many others.  It's hard to comprehend how so much fire and energy could be contained in such a small woman.  She loved to get her hands dirty, tearing down an engine or planting beautiful flowers in her yard … but she was petrified of spiders!  Stacy was a loving wife, mother, NaNa, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Stacy is survived by her husband of 30 years, Tim; a daughter, Jessica (fiancé Andrew Baker); a son, Matthew; grandchildren, Kinsley, Charlie and "Baby B #2" (due April, 2021); father, Larry Phifer; sisters, Lisa Harmon and Sherri Phifer; several nieces and nephews; and three four-legged "children", Beenie, Marley and Rebel.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Paula Edwards and a brother, Scott Phifer.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial made to the National Fibromyalgia Association, via their website.

The family will have a gathering time for family and friends on from 4-6 PM on Tuesday evening at Morgan & Son Funeral Home.
