Peachland – Mr. Joseph Steven "Dog" Carpenter, 67, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024, at his home.  Born November 24, 1956 in Union County, he was the son of Wilma Geraldine Allen Carpenter and the late Jack Tice Carpenter.

Steve was a pipe fitter since he graduated high school. He loved to hunt with his beagles and fish. He liked to ride four wheelers before he was disabled. Most of all, he loved being with his family.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of 22 years, Doris Smith Carpenter; stepchildren, Denise Morgan, Lynn Poplin, Eric Page and Polly Page; 13 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren.

Morgan & Son is serving the Carpenter family.
