Norwood-Mr. Thomas A. Meggs, II "Tommy", passed away on Friday at Hospice House of Union County. He was the son of the late Thomas A, and Corliss Ramsey Meggs.  He was a transportation manager with Griffin Masonry.  Tommy was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he was honored to serve as a Deacon, Usher, and Sunday School Teacher.  He was also a member of the BMW auto club.

Funeral Service will be 3pm Monday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  Visitation will be one hour prior in the church sanctuary.  Interment will follow in the Edwards Family Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Misty E. Meggs of the home and his sister, Edie Meggs Sullivan of Marshville.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the  donor's choice.
