Mr. Tommy Collins, 79, passed away peacefully, Sunday morning, March 12, 2023 at Atrium Health West in Matthews.  Born February 14, 1944 in Robeson county, he was a son of the late Lanneau and Sara Smith Collins. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Outlaw Collins, a son, Dwight Collins and siblings Valerie Collins Seals, (Aaron) Bradley Collins, Marshall Collins, Sarah Collins Rogers (Bobby) and step son Joey Hildreth.

Thomas worked Raybestos-Manhattan in Marshville for many years.  "Tommy" loved working in his yard, especially in his flower beds.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Tommy will be 11 AM, Thursday, March 16, 2023 from Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include son, Shane Collins, step daughter, Marty Little (Joe), grandchildren, Joey Collins, Dalton Collins, Shelby Collins Hodge (Jake), Shawn Collins (Sarah), great grandchild, Bentley Collins, sister-in-law, Marie Collins and many nephews and nieces.   He will be missed dearly by his precious dog, Peppy.
