Marshville – Mr. Tommy Sevill Edwards, 81, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020. Born May 17, 1938 in Anson County, he was a son of the late Frank and Pauline High Edwards. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Bobby Heath Edwards.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Lanes Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Marshville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:30 – 1:45 in the church fellowship building.
Mr. Edwards is survived by his loving wife Barbara James Edwards of the home; son, Scott Edwards and his wife Nicole of Marshville; daughter, Alison Edwards Rushing and her husband, Jamie of Marshville; grandchildren, Skylar and her husband Justin, Ria, Ayden and Shane.
Tommy was the BEST Husband, Daddy, Pa-Pa and Friend. He loved going on family trips, making people laugh, going to work every day, fishing, playing the fiddle and making music with his friends. There will never be another like Tommy Edwards. The love we have felt from all of his friends and family has been unbelievable and we are so thankful for each and every one! Life on this earth will never be the same, but we can only imagine the celebration he is having in heaven.
