Marshville - Mr. Tommy Parks Greene, 61 of Marshville died Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at CMC-Union. Born April 29, 1952 in Union County, he was a son of the late Ray Union Greene and Dessie Little Greene. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Doug Greene. Tommy was a 1974 graduate of NC State and he loved the Wolfpack. He enjoyed being outdoors; spending time with his Australian Shepherd, Roxy, as well as his many farm cats, and tending the cows. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Tommy will be Friday at 2 PM at Hamilton Crossroads Baptist Church with burial to follow in the churchâ??s cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 pm at the Morgan & Son Funeral Home. Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia; son, Jacob Greene of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Jessica Greene of Wrightsville Beach, NC; brother, Ray Greene, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Marshville; sister-in-law, Mary Greene of Monroe; mother-in-law, Helen Thomas of Marshville; niece and nephews, Emily Greene, Gary Greene, Jason Greene, and Daniel Thomas.
