Marshville – Mr. Truby Taylor, 93, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at Autumn Care in Marshville.  Born May 12, 1927, he was a son of the late John Henry Taylor and Bertha Helms Taylor. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Talmadge Taylor and Joe Taylor.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Truby will be 11 AM, Friday, May 7, 2021 from graveside of Fountain Hill United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service by the grave.

Survivors include his sister, Betty Smith (Arnold); nephew, HT Taylor; great niece, Talisha (Paul) Ohmann; great-great nephew, Remington Ohmann; niece, Sandy Taylor Johnson (Jim); great nephew, Jimmy Johnson (Megan); great niece, Katie Johnson; sister-in-law, Betty Allen Taylor.

During these times of limiting the numbers for social gatherings, the family respects your concerns of avoiding crowds, so they welcome you to stop by the funeral home on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 1 PM until 3:00pm to pay your respects.  The family will not be present.
