Vann Atlas Godwin's Obituary
Wingate- Mr. Vann A. Godwin, 74, passed away Sunday the 19th of July, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Union County on February 20th, 1941 to the late Atlas Marion and Pearl Edwards Godwin. He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Vera Godwin.
Funeral Services will be 11am Wednesday the 22nd of July, 2015 at Austin Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be in Austin Grove Baptist Church Fellowship Hall one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Godwin is survived by his two step-daughters: Mrs. Karen Knight and Ms. Suzanne Simpson. Three sisters: Inez Tarlton, Ruby Newsome, and Martha Jean Stegall.
