Vickey Sherrell Davis Johnson, a beloved mother of five, passed away on November 7, 2023, at White Oak Manor in Lancaster, South Carolina at the age of 84. She was born on June 17, 1939, in Chester, South Carolina to Harry Adams Davis and Myrtle Sylvine Williams.

Vickey was married to Cecil James Johnson whom she met on a blind date while attending Wingate University. It was love at first sight, and they were engaged three months later. They enjoyed a forty-three year marriage until his passing.

Vickey was a homemaker and an amazing cook. She enjoyed working puzzles, listening to old music, watching movies, and reading her Bible.

She was mother to Cheryl Weiner (Jon), Susan Johnson (Sandra), Michele Vanasdale (Donnie), Jimmy Johnson (Marie), and Robby Johnson (Sharon), as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, beloved husband, and daughter Michele.

A private service will be held to celebrate her life.
