Mrs. Vickie Threatt Mills, 75, of Polkton passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 at her home.  Born October 3, 1947 in Mecklenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Evan Threatt and Lois Harrington Threatt. She was also preceded in death by sister of love, Carole Thomas.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Vickie will be 11 AM, Friday, June 23, 2023 from the chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Marshville City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10 – 10:45 at the funeral home.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 52 years, Francis Mills; son, Scott Kameda (Lisa); daughters, Angela Mills (Scott), Lisa Temple (Wesley) and Kelly Rushing (Michael); brother, Rodney Threatt (Gale); grandchildren, Justin (Amber), Josie, Richie (Taylor), Caroline, Jake (Janelle), Greg (Adrian), John (Cara), Shelby, Hailee (Josh), Tori, Mikayla (Brent), Mika (Caleb), Kiaya (Jordan), Channing (Gabby), Tanner (Megan), Jadan and Teya; 37 great grandchildren.
