Marshville- Mrs. Virginia G. Ammons passed away at Olive Branch Family Care in Marshville. She was born in Anson County on June the 11th, 1924 to the late Claud and Ollie Lowery Griffin. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Earl Mace Ammons, Sr., her son Mr. Earl Mace Ammons, Jr., and her daughter Mrs. Carolyn A. Park.  She was also preceded in death by her sister Mrs. Judy Griffin Waddell.
Funeral Services will be 12pm Monday the 16th of July, 2018 in the Chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Marshville City Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
She is survived by three sons: Mr. Eddie Ammons and his wife Marsha of Apex, NC., Mr. Billy Ammons and his wife Betsy of Marshville, and Mr. Rick Ammons and his wife Lisa of Marshville. Her grandchildren: Julie Thomas, Steven Ammons, April Wingler, Paul Ammons, Blake Ammons, Jonathan Nance, Paige Brayton and Payton Park. Twelve great-grandchildren also survive her.
