Marshville - Mr. William "Bill" Henry Hicks, Sr, died Tuesday at his home. Born January 26, 1941 in Mooresboro, NC, he was a son of the late Lewis Jefferson Hicks and Ethal Newton Hicks. A memorial service will be 11 am Thursday at the First Baptist Church Indian Trail - East Campus - Marshville Mr. Hicks is survived by his loving wife Beverly; sons, Kevin Hicks of Unionville, Butch Hicks of Charlotte and David Hicks of Wesley Chapel; daughter, Stacie Catoe of Marshville; brothers, Charles Hicks of Lancaster, Sc; sisters, Jean Hensley of Lancaster, SC and Joy Franklin of Henrietta, NC; seven grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. The Morgan & Son Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Hicks.
