Peachland, formerly of Charlotte – Mr. William "Bill" Torrence, 79, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at his home.  Born April 2, 1943, he was the son of Richard and Emma Jeannette Hutchings Torrence.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Dickie Torrence Beckwith.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Bill will be 12 noon Thursday, August 4, 2022 from the graveside of Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte. The family will receive friends following the service by the grave and from the home.

Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 43 years, Janet Moody Torrence; sons, Dusty Tyler Torrence (Catherine) and William Kyle Torrence (Emma); grandchildren, Rena, Jude and Easton Torrence; niece Karen Beckwith Mills (Denver); great niece, Randi Leigh Ashley (Brandon); brother-in-law, Thomas Beckwith.

The family suggests memorial be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, via their website.
