Rev. William Steven Watson, 85, of Marshville, passed away, Sunday, November 3, 2024, at his home. Born February 27, 1939, in Ashland, Ohio to the late William D. Watson and Helen Ohl Tyson.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Frank Watson and sister Mary Immel (Blane).

Rev. Watson, known as Pastor Bill, served in the ministry for 50 years. He loved outdoor activities, sports, also watching things and making things grow. He had the best smile and always found someone to tell about Jesus and His love for them.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Pastor Bill will be 11 AM, Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from the graveside of Marshville City Cemetery.

Those left to cherish William's memory include his loving wife of 66 years, Grace Irene Plant Watson; son, William Michael Watson (Sharon); daughters, Tricia C. Brown (Jimmy) and Lisa L. Thews (Steven); and his sister, Pauline Benner (Glen); sister-in-law, (Frank's wife) Winnie; grandchildren, Ethan K. Brown (Katie), Zachery Brown (Kristen), Wyatt Brown (Madison), Tyler Watson (Kayla), Brittany Watson and Dakota Watson (Amanda), Marshall Thews, Kristin Thews, Heather Tessler; great grandchildren, Adalyn, Abigail, Elijah, Amilia, Mara Jade, Warren, Ezra, Rylan, Rhea, Weston, Winnie, Dakota Jr., Sophia, Anderson and Harper.
