Mr. R. Winfred Little (Big W), 74 of Marshville, NC, died Tuesday March 8, 2016 at his residence. Winfred was born on August 23, 1941 in Anson County, NC. He was the only child of Winfred Bruce Little and Juanita Caudle Little.
Winfred was a lifelong sawmill man, he owned and operated Rebel Lumber Company for nearly 40 years. He thoroughly enjoyed running heavy equipment, flying planes and the outdoors.
Graveside Services will be 11am Friday the 11th of March, 2016 in Marshville City Cemetery. Visitation will be 6pm-7:30pm Thursday at Morgan & Son.
Winfred is survived by his wife of 53 years Judy Tarlton Little. His two children: Scott Allen Little and Marty Little McEwen and her husband Steve of Marshville. Three grandchildren: Kayla Marie Little, Jacob Myles McEwen and Madison Noel Little all of Marshville.
The family has requested that memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
